I made links to certain files, but that doesn't mean they will continue to exist forever. I will probably delete them if there is a new release.
The maintenance people description has the word "to" repeated and the landing pad description still says it can make RC planes. The dock has shadows in two directions, and there is no option to sell buildings. In a map I made available here and here, the AI player at the bottom doesn't do anything.

You fixed most of the annoying bugs/suggestions in Beta D, but I found a few more that aren't so annoying. The one that I found first was if you restart the game without going to the main menu, the AI still doesn't do anything. Also, the editor doesn't let you place labs so that they overlap the gray area surrounding flowers, but it lets you place flowers so that the gray area around it overlaps labs. If you do this, save, and load, the labs get moved around. This probably also applies to other similar situations, but I didn't care to check. If you quit a game while scrolling, in the next game it will still be scrolling until you tell it to scroll in the same direction then stop. A game I saved for megamaze crashes when opened with stderr saying [string "dod/save/AndrewD megamaze.sav.gz"]:50438: function or expression too complex near '}'. The file is attached. (Update: I can't attach files on a forum so file is here.) When we were talking once, you said it would be more appropriate to the theme if there is fog of war and the map is revealed. This isn't a default, but the main thing I wanted to tell you is that you can hear what is happening in areas that are darker but not black. This can be used to one's advantage to wait in areas where there is a work battle to not have to face as many people when you do send. (Update: I know you said this was a Stratagus issue but I'll mention it here anyway.) Boats do not have the range to throw work at the player at the bottom-right corner of aquamaze, so I build an airport and flying book cannons when only that player is left to get rid of. There is no longer a mining cash sound, but maybe there isn't supposed to be one. In any case, it still comes with the game. . . . You might consider updating the starting screen to have an updated screenshot and copyright 2007 (update: now 2008). The "Starting the Game" section in the readme might be worth updating since the interface for starting a game seems simpler now, and the airport picture in the readme doesn't have the dot at the top. The readme says that making a tutorial is a to-do list item, but it still hasn't been made. The readme on the Internet links to the wrong images, e.g. the maintenance person image should link to http://formicite.com/dod/fixer.png instead of http://formicite.com/fixer.png.

Hey ad510,
I got an evil flu at maker faire, so I did not get back to you.
Beta E is up that fixes some of the issues here.
I could not fix the savegame crash or the editor issue, but I think I got all the rest. I'll later be replacing the graphics, so it's not worth fixing the dock, but thanks for the attention to detail.

I found the problem with that map. The Dean's office that is suppose to be the bottom AI's is actually a neutral building, so that's why the AI does not do anything.

I also just noticed the problem with the DoD map. I have deleted the formicite folder from my web site since there is no more use for it. Therefore, my links above no longer work.
